Connect WordPress to GeoCopy

GeoCopy publishes to your WordPress blog using the REST API. We support WordPress.com sites and self-hosted WordPress on your own hosting (SiteGround, WP Engine, Cloudways, etc.).

Before you start

Connect in GeoCopy

  1. Open Portal → Integrations → WordPress and click Connect.
  2. Enter your site URL (e.g. https://blog.yoursite.com or https://yoursite.wordpress.com).
  3. GeoCopy detects your hosting type and shows the right connect button:
    • WordPress.com — click Connect WordPress.com, sign in to WordPress.com if prompted, then choose which site to publish to.
    • Self-hosted — click Connect with WordPress, sign in to wp-admin if prompted, then click Approve.
  4. When the integration card shows Connected, open Settings and pick a default category (and author if you use one).

  1. In WordPress: Users → Profile → Application Passwords
  2. Name it GeoCopy and click Add Application Password
  3. Copy the password immediately (WordPress only shows it once)
  4. In GeoCopy, paste your site URL, username, and Application Password, then connect
